For A5 Planners, we love a Filofax or Kikki.K planner. But there are other brands who make lovely A5 planners too.
Filofax and Kikki.K create A5 planners with 6 rings that hold the pages together. You can buy A5 paper planner inserts that have been pre-punched with 6 holes so that it can just go inside your planner. Or you can buy a 6-hole punch which will allow to create your own planner inserts. Creating your own planner inserts allows the most flexibility with your planner.
You can also get A5 planners that use discs to hold the pages together. For these planners, you'll need to either buy planner inserts that have been specially cut for disc bound planners (these aren't very common), or you can buy a discbound punch which will cut paper to fit your disc bound planner. With a discbound planner, we highly recommend buying a discbound punch, due to the lack of discbound planner refills on the market.
